Tarter Rancher latch Assembly Instructions

Step one
Unbolt Lever Latch from the gate and move it from it's
shipping position (bars 3 & 4) on the gate to it's
installation position (bars 2 & 3).
Step three
Make sure Latch Assembly
is flush against the opening
end of the gate.
Step five
Extend latch bolts to determine where to position latch
receiver.

Step two
Attach Latch Assembly to
the opening side of the gate.
Secure tube anchorplates to
the two rails of the gate.
Step four
Attach bolts
to the upper
and lower slots
allotted for
them. Make
sure the bolts
are secure and
tight.
Step Six
Drill 1/4" holes using
the latch receiver as
a template. Insert and
secure bolts with
crescent or socket
wrench. Slide latch into
receiver.
