INSTALLATION

• Plug one end of the coiled cord to the jack of the handset and the other
end to the jack of the telephone base.
• Plug one end of the flat cord to the line jack of the phone and the other
end to the wall jack.

SETTINGS

Setting Tone/Pulse:
• If your home is equipped with Touch Tone dialing service, set selector to
the "T" (Tone) position.
• If you have rotary dialing service, set the selector to "P" (Pulse) position.
Ringer Volume Control (HI/LO/OFF)
• Slide the 'RINGER' switch to 'HI' position for high volume or to the 'LO'
position for low volume to turn the ringer on.
• Slide the 'RINGER' switch to 'OFF' to turn the ringer off. You still can dial
out, but will not have an audible ring to alert you to incoming calls.
(Ringer LED will still flash to remind you there is an incoming call.)
Speaker Volume Control (MAX to MIN)
• Slide the 'SPEAKER' switch to adjust the speaker volume from maximum
(MAX) to minimum (MIN).
Receiver Volume Control (LO/MI/HI)
• Slide the 'VOLUME' switch on the inside of the handset to adjust the
receiver volume from LO to HI.
