1. MEMORY:
 Insert the SD memory card in the slot under the bay cover on the left side of the camera (right bay not used).
2.

POWER:

 Insert a fully charged battery into the Battery Bay until it is flush with the bottom of the handle.
 Power can also be supplied by the included AC adapter.
3.

START:

 Remove lens cap then push and release the Power button, this will initiate the camera's start sequence.
4.

FOCUS:

 Manual Focus: Place the Focus Selector to the right position then twist the focusing ring
clockwise or counterclockwise.
 Motorized Focus: Place the Focus Selector to the left position then focus by pushing or pulling the focus trigger.
5. AUTO ADJUST (Level & Span):
NOTE: The camera might start in either in auto or manual adjust mode depending on which mode it was in during
last use.
 If currently in Manual mode (indicated "M" under the
Palette bar) press the Right Function button to
show the "Set Scale" menu.

Move the joystick left to highlight the Auto scale
icon then press the OK button.
6. MANUAL ADJUST (Level & Span):
 If currently in Auto mode (indicated "A" under the palette bar) press the Right Function button to show the "Set
Scale" menu.

Move the joystick right to highlight either the lower scale temp. icon, both upper & lower or the upper
temp. scale icon.

Adjust Span by moving the Joystick up and down while either the upper or lower scale temp. is
highlighted.

Adjust Level by moving the Joystick up and down while both the upper and lower scale temps. are
highlighted.
 Press the OK button to hide the Scale menu yet remaining in manual mode.
