    R e f e r e n c e Introduction The MDM 3000 Series Snap-on Modem Module allows dial-up connections of the SPT 1700 and PPT 2700 family of terminals to a remote host computer, while maintaining the portability of the terminal.

  • Page 5 Note: Modem drivers for Palm OS version 3.2 and 3.5 are available on the diskette packaged with your modem, as well as from www.symbol.com. These drivers en- able power to the modem through the SPT1700's serial port. For OS version 3.2, use PowerDrv32.prc; for version 3.5, use PowerDrv35.prc.
