Section 3: Mounting without Bracket
Refer to the design guideline to ensure that the condition is
met. Complete Steps 1, 2, and 3 of Section 1: UMC
Installation before following the procedure below.
Step 1: Remove ½" fixture
knockout.
Step 2: Using your thumb or
pliers, push and remove the
knockout of the UMC's front
case.
Step 3: Insert the ½" Chase
Nipple through the knockout
hole of the UMC's front case.
Step 4: Insert the sensor into
the UMC case pulling the
cables through the Chase
Nipple. Make sure the lens and
antenna are visible through
the hole in the front.
Step 6: Mount the UMC to
