Security

glasses and safety shoes. Adopt stable
and secure postures. Keep work areas
clear, without children or people around,
unrelated to the work being done. Be
aware of the reaction in the hand holding
RiveDrill and release if it seems excessive
reaction, than can increase if it is heating
or overloading. In that case, stop and leave
to cool.
Terms of use
a) RiveDrill should only be used with
reversible cordless (battery) drills.
b) Always respect the measure of "Y"

e) When RiveDrill is heated during long
cycles of work using hard rivets, the
reaction in the hand increases and must be

2. Installation

. RiveDrill is installed as a
drill bit in any cordless (battery) reversible
drill, with torque control and variable
speed. Ensure that the chuck does not rub
on RiveDrill, that it is well centered so that
it will not oscillate and that it is fastened
and tight. A telescopic safety protector
covers the hand, when moving it covering
the drill holder, only on the models;
E95H.28, E95H.20, E95H, and E95H.ND2.

3. RiveDrill interior movements.

5. Nosepieces.

Use only the nosepiece
marked on its hexagonal side, with the
number closest to the diameter of the rivet
in mm, or its equivalent in inches. Some
nosepieces are optional and are not
included in the unit of purchase. Before
replacing the Nosepiece, move the jaw-
holder tractor, turning to the right and
holding RiveDrill with the hand until the
control hole opens, to remove pressure
between the nosepiece (green) and the
jaws (black). Use only the corresponding
nosepiece. Without the nosepiece in place,
RiveDrill will not move, even if the drilling
machine is operated.

6. Initial position.

Turn the cordless
(battery) drill to the left while holding it with
the gloved hand so that it does not turn
until the control hole is closed and the
clutch is heard, indicating that the RiveDrill
is in the initial position with the jaws open,
ready to receive the rivet.

7. Set the rivet.

Smart RiveDrill transforms
the rotary power of the drill (Mt),
automatically generating an intelligent
torque (Smart torque) (St), which reduces
the operator's effort (Hand torque) (Ht),
especially in the most resistant rivets.
Simultaneously it produces a powerful
riveting force (F), which crushes the rivet.

8. Riveting.

Hold RiveDrill with your gloved
hand and turn the cordless (battery) drill to
the right until it rivets. Stop immediately. The
reaction in the hand is proportional to the
hardness of the rivet used. If the reaction in
the hand is increasing with the use, you must
stop to avoid overheating.

9. Expel the mandrel of the rivet

. Change
the turn of the cordless (battery) drill holding
RiveDrill with the hand, do it inclining the
riveter down, until hear the clutch and fall
down the broken mandrel. RiveDrill is ready
at the initial position for the next rivet.

10. Spare parts.

RiveDrill is designed so that
the user can perform simple maintenance. It
is disassembled just by releasing the spring
washer from its shaft with pliers. This way the
Rotor and the tractor jaw-holder are
extracted. Both modules, as well as jaws and
any other piece, can be purchased online.
