  • Page 1 Breeze Air Pumps Instruction Manual IMPORTANT: Please read this instruction manual carefully before using this product. Keep the manual safe for future reference.
  • Page 2 Thank you for purchasing a Bermuda Breeze Air Pump. The Bermuda air pump is ideal for using in a pond as it helps create a healthier environment for fish and aquatic plants. The Bermuda Air Pump will significantly increase the amount of oxygen and reduce carbon dioxide levels. Aeration in the pond is extremely important in warm weather when oxygen levels reduce.
  • Page 3 Installation To comply with Part P of Local Authority Building Regulations, the air pump does not have a fitted plug. The air pump should be hard wired into the mains by way of an RCD (Residual Current Device) with a tripping current not exceeding 30mA.
  • Page 4 Location and connection Install the air pump above the water level to avoid back siphoning of the pond water into the air pump. The air pump should be located on a firm level surface such as a concrete floor or patio slab so that the air pump does not vibrate and cause excessive noise.
  • Page 5 Cleaning and maintenance The Bermuda Breeze range of air pumps are designed to run continuously with the minimum amount of maintenance. Ideally, all outlets should have an air line and air stone connected and used, this will give the pond maximum aeration and ensure that damaging back-pressure is kept to a minimum.

  • Page 7 Trouble shooting Low Air Output/Noisy Operation • Ensure the air pump is on a level surface. • When replacing air lines ensure they are replaced with silicone tubing, as supplied. • Check that the air tubing has no kins. • If the pump is too powerful for your requirements, opening one of the air valves without an air line will bleed off unwanted air flow and dramatically reduce the noise.
