the ALRM-DS detector.

1. Characteristics
The door detector may be installed on doors, windows or other tiltable elements. If the alarm is armed and
someone opens the door or window, the detector will send a signal to the alarm control panel and activate the
alarming procedure. The detector is made of components that ensure a low power consumption and this a
longer life of the batteries.

4. Internal diagram and method of installation
Open/Close – the detector sends signals regardless of whether the magnet is close or far.
Normal – the detector sends signals only when the magnet is far.
5. Installation
Press the upper section of the housing to release the latch securing the front cover.
Once you remove the cover, insert two AAA batteries. Pay attention to polarity.
Install the detector on a door or window frame. Install the magnet on a door or window leaf. The device should
be installed with screws or a double-sided stick tape.
Install the magnet on the right side of the detector. The detector-to-magnet distance should not exceed 1 cm.
Do not install the detector in locations where there are many metals or electric cables.
To add the detector to your alarm system, switch the system control panel to detector adding mode, and then
call the detector signal by positioning the detector close to the control panel and moving the magnet and
detector apart.
The detector can cooperate with our 8level ALRM-KIT-BASE alarm control panel. To pair the detector with the
control panel, proceed according to the manual attached to your ALRM-KIT-BASE alarm.
Note! When the detector indicates that the battery is low, immediately replace the battery to maintain the
system in operation.
