2 Important safety instructions 2.1 Essentials For your own safety, and to prevent unnecessary damage to your equipment, observe the following safety instructions: 2.2 General safety instructions ® ® The FALCON SPER mini DMX 2000W is suitable exclusively for outdoor use*. *Its domestic use is not permitted.
Never operate the equipment if the mains cable is damaged. Do not remove the lid of the casing under any circumstances. Have your searchlight repaired and serviced only by specialists qualified and authorised by Alpha One GmbH. Improper interference with the equipment can negatively affect the equipment's electrical safety.

2.5 Standards, directives, regulations Safety clearance Position the equipment on a suitable base which corresponds to the requirements in the specification for the searchlight in terms of size, weight and safety clearances to be maintained. Because of the danger of burns, it should be ensured that during operation nobody touches the equipment.

3.4 Operating conditions ® ® The FALCON SPER mini DMX 2000W is a xenon searchlight which can be used only as a permanent installation. The searchlight may be operated only in a standing installation position. Its IP-54 classification allows the searchlight to be installed in a permanent outdoor position.
3.5 Installation - xenon illuminant The following instructions and safety measures should be observed when installing the xenon illuminant: • Handle the illuminant only in the safety packaging provided for this purpose. • When handling xenon illuminants, it is obligatory to wear appropriate protective clothing (face protection, leather jacket, and leather gloves).
