- Page 5 To use 1. Before using for the first time. Wash loose parts (cooking bowl, lid, spatula and measuring cup) in hot water with a little washing up liquid. Rinse and dry thoroughly. 2. Place the cooker housing on a stable, flat, heat resistant surface and away from surfaces that may be damaged by steam.
