STEP 1: Lay Swing on the shipping box during assembly to protect it from scratching. Place Arm (E) with pre-drilled hole facing up. Insert Arm Post (F) tenon into pre-drilled hole. Make sure the cut away portion at the bottom of the post faces forward as depicted in Fig.

STEP 1: Repeat the same process for the rear Arm Post (F). Again, ensure that the cutout portion on the lower part of the Arm Post faces to the rear. Fig 3 Repeat this entire process for the other Arm. Fig.

STEP 2: Place Eye Bolt with washer(G) in the pre-drilled hole in the Swing Seat (A). Push all the way through to expose threads on the other side of the Swing Arm (F). Place all 4 Eye Bolts in on both sides. Fig. 5 Fig.

STEP 3: Place Swing Back (B) on the box with the back facing down. Place left and right Back Posts (C) with the bevel at the bottom facing upward. This is critical for the swing to assemble correctly. Fig. 7 Fig.

STEP 4: Set the swing back between the two arms that protrude the back of the swing. Notice the beveled bottom of the back post faces the back of the swing seat. Place an Arm Bolt (I) into the pre-drilled hole at the rear of the Arm and aligning with the threaded insert in the back post.

STEP 5: Place Small Button (H) into the pre-drilled hole on the inside of the arm. Tap in gently with a hammer until flush with surface. Repeat for the rear pre-drilled hole on the inside of the arm. Repeat for the other arm. Fig. 12 Fig.

STEP 6: Place Large Button (H) into the pre-drilled hole in the side Back Post (C). Tap in with a hammer until flush. Repeat for all three on each side. Fig. 14 Fig. 14 STEP 7: Open the Swing Chain (D) and separate the two sides of chain. Identify the two shorter legs.

STEP 7: Hold swing chain tight so eye bolt is vertical and tighten eye bolt completely. Ensure eye bolt is completely tightened as this supports all of the weight in the swing. Repeat for all four eye bolts. Fig. 16 Fig.

When installing the provided ceiling hooks it is very important that the pilot hole drilled for the ceiling bolts is no larger than 5/32”. Also, the wood must be solid and sturdy enough to handle the load being placed on it. CAUTION: Not screwing the ceiling bolt all the way into the material can cause hardware failure and possible injury.
