IMPORTANT: Make sure to turn off the main
water supply to the valve before you begin
Tools You May Need
Adjustable Wrench
Allen Wrench
Remove the adaptor. Grab an allen wrench
and unscrew the allen screw, on the bottom
of the adaptor.
Remove the sleeve by slidding it off the
valve. Remove the face plate cap by
snapping it off the the plate.
Tub/Shower & Shower only Cartridge -
Phillips Screwdriver
Flat Head
Remove the push pull diverter trim. (This step
will have to be done if you have a tub and
shower valve.) Remove the diverter cap. Withe
a screwdriver unscrew the screw.
Remove face plate. Unscrew the screws with
a screw driver and pull the face plate out of
the valve. (Make sure to turn off the service
stops on the side of the valve.) Use a flat
head and close the both service stops
ST8000 cartridge & ST8000B pressure balancing unit
Grab an adjustable wrench and screw the
lock sleeve off the valve.

Installation Instructions
Taking the cartridge out
Remove the sleeve cap. Withe your hands
unscrew the cap off.
Remove the cartridge by pulling it off the
valve. (Optional- Remove the pressure
balancing unit) Use a small flat head and try
pulling it out. Once out of the valve
chamber grab it with fingers and wiggle it
out of chamber.
