Instructions for updating VBR100 player firmware
(Applies to Vizio VBR100 Blu-Ray Player only)
The firmware zip file consists of the firmware (image) and these instructions.
Burn the iso file to a CD using software capable of burning an image disc, such as Nero Burning Rom
(select Recorder...Burn Image from the menu) or ImgBurn (freeware).
1. Power on the unit, wait for the "no disc" message.
2. Eject the tray.
3. Insert the CD-R and close the tray.
4. You should see the "Loading disc" message on the screen.
5. The firmware screen will be displayed (Fig 1).

6. Press the "SELECT" button on the player remote to begin the update process. If you wish to

cancel the process, highlight "Cancel" by pressing the
key on the player remote, then press
"SELECT". The progress screen will be displayed (Fig 2).

- Page 2 When the update process is complete, the success screen will be displayed and the tray will open (Fig 3). FIG 3 7. Remove the disc from the tray, then press “SELECT” on the player remote. The tray will close and the player will restart. The firmware should then be updated.
