1. Checklist
Before you start installing the AEP1100/AEP1200, verify the package contains the
following items:
-- AEP1100/AEP1200 Board
-- LAN Driver Diskette
-- This User's Manual
Please notify your sales representative immediately if any of the aforementioned
items is missing or damaged.
2. Overview
AEP1100/AEP1200 is a PCI Ethernet Board, the PCI bus design allows
AEC1100/AEP1200 to transfer data between the network and station at PCI
system clock speed with high throughput rate. AEP1100 is equipped with ST
multi-mode connectors (Tx, Rx), while AEP1200 is equipped with SC multi-mode
connectors (Tx, Rx). The Link LED will light up when fiber cable connection is
good. The Act LED blinks to indicate the activity status.
