The amount of water required depends on the number of eggs and the
degree of hardness/softness desired. The measuring cup marked
3 scales : Soft, Medium and Hard-boiled. Each scale has the number
of eggs marked on it. Fill the measuring cup with water up to the
appropriate mark. Make sure that the egg boiler is placed in horizontal
position. Unwind the cable from the base. Pour measured amount of
water into the boiling plate.
Use the pin underside the measuring cup to prick a small aperture into
the blunt end of the egg. This prevents the eggshells bursting during
boiling.Put eggs into tray and put the boiling plate. Close the lid.
Put the plug into socket. Machine is now in operation. When all water
has evaporated. Built-in thermostat switches off the boiler and the
buzzer sounds. Eggs are now cooked. Pull out the plug from socket.
Remove the lid carefully. As it is very hot, immediately take out the egg
tray and cool the eggs.
Cleaning instructions
Always unplug the appliance and allow cooling before cleaning. The egg
tray and the cover can be washed normally. However, the cooking plate
which is fixed to the bottom of the appliance can only be cleaned with a
moistened towel.
Do not immerse the appliance in water!
When excessive scales are deposited on the cooking plate, normal
household vinegar can be used to remove the scales. Dilute the vinegar
with water (add 1 part vinegar to 10 parts of water). Pour the solution onto
the cooking plate. Allow
soaking for about 30 minutes. Then pour way the liquid. Wipe the cooking
plate clean with a moistened towel.
