- Page 2 Release Lever The CMP-1226 8 Point Crimp Tool is used for crimping wires (12-26 AWG) and contacts for electrical connectors. The CMP- 1226 is compatible with the M22520/1-01 tool. The CMP-1226 requires a turret head (sold separately to perform the crimping operation.
- Page 3 Select the corresponding wire size on the selector knob by aligning the selection number/wire size with the selection arrow on the left side. To rotate the selector knob, remove the spring lock, pull the knob upward, rotate to the position needed, and release.
