LUBRICATION
All
moving
parts in
this
recorder
were
perman-
ently
lubricated at time of manufacture.
Under
normal
use
further
lubrication should not be
required.
In
heavy-duty
service,the following parts
should be
lub-
ricated
onee a
year
with
a
drop of

motor
oil:

bottom motor bearings.

The top
and
bottom
flywheel

while recorder
is
in
"play"
position. The tension
should
be
smooth
without
any
pulsations.
If
surface
of
take-up clutch
felt
(g0) is
gummy,
it
muet be
replaced.
