    Functional Description 3.1.1 Function The fos4Strain patch is a fiber-optical strain sensor based on a fiber Bragg grating. The sensor is designed for strain monitoring of various structures, for example GRP, metal and concrete. The sensor is suitable for measurements under difficult conditions as the functional principle makes the sensor immune to electromagnetic interference and lightning.
