General information General information Reading and storing the user manual This user manual accompanies this telescopic tree pruner (hereafter re- ferred to as the “tree pruner”). It contains important information about safety and use. Before using the tree pruner, please read through the user manual care- fully. - Page 8 General information Read the user manual and safety instructions. Wear head and eye protection. Wear protective gloves. Wear non-slip shoes and tight-fitting clothing. Wear suitable, tight-fitting clothing. Danger of electric shock! Do not store the tree pruner near high-volt- age lines, electric cables or electric fences. Maintain a distance of at least 10 m from high-voltage lines.

Safety Safety Proper use The tree pruner is only designed to cut fresh wood with a diameter of up to 28 mm. For branches with a diameter greater than 28 mm or for dry, hard wood, use the saw blade supplied. The tree pruner is intended for private use only and is not suitable for commercial purposes, e.g. - Page 10 Safety − Make sure before each use that the safety lock of the telescopic rod is closed to avoid unintentional retraction or extension of the telescopic rod. − When the tree pruner is being transported or is not being used, engage the safety lock, fold the clippers all the way down and follow the instructions in the chapters "Transport"...
