    Octagon Systems can preinstall some operating systems, including drivers for the standard features such as digital I/O and COM ports. Octagon Systems has drivers for Windows XP/XPe and Linux for the standard Fleet–CORE features, as well as for Octagon System expansion cards.

    2. There are no internal repairable components. Field repair is not covered by the Octagon warranty. 3. Do not over-tighten the antenna or GPS connectors. 4. The Fleet–CORE can be stand-alone mounted with six 4 mm hex bolts, or attached to an optional mounting bracket which is then fastened to the operating environment.

    The Fleet–CORE can be stand-alone mounted with six 4 mm hex bolts, or attached to an optional mounting bracket which is then fastened to the operating environment. The bolts must be 6.35 mm longer than the thickness of the plate to which you are mounting to ensure a sufficient number of threads are engaged.

    Ethernet standard. The Ethernet ports use PCI interrupts as assigned by the operating system. Note that you must have two Ethernet drivers installed to be able to use both Ethernet ports. The Ethernet drivers are on the Octagon Systems web site. www.octagonsystems.com...

    The audio is AC 97 Codec compatible. The audio has stereo input and output (left/right channel) and 2W RMS stereo speaker output. The Audio drivers are on the Octagon Systems web site. The Audio signals are on the AUX connector.

    H indicates Compact Flash (green) and SATA (yellow) activity. S is a user controlled bi-color status LED. Accessing this LED registers is accomplished through operating system drivers. Contact Octagon Systems for driver availability and/or a Board Support Package for your Operating System.

    Technical specifications CPU, FSB and SDRAM The Intel Atom N270 processor has a clock speed of 1.6 GHz and a Front Side Bus speed of 533 MHz. and is equipped with 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM. The processor’s core voltage and clock speed automatically adjusts to protect CPU from overheating.
