Goiot Cristal Series Fitting Instructions

INSTALLATION

• Le panneau doit être installé sur une surface plane
d'une tolérance maximum de +/- 1 mm.
• Vérifier que l'ouvrant pourra être manœuvré sans obstruction
• Découper le pont aux côtes de découpe préconisées
(voir tableau ci-dessous) et marquer également les trous de
fixation.
• Percer un trou pour la scie sauteuse pour entamer la découpe
puis procéder à la découpe complète.
• Vérifier que le dormant se pose correctement sur
l'emplacement.
• Déposer un cordon de silicone sous le dormant en quantité
suffisante pour réaliser l'étanchéité.
• Positionner le dormant et contre percer 2 trous de
fixation dans deux coins opposés, fixer le dormant à l'aide de
boulons inox. Percer les trous restants et visser en partant du
centre vers les bords.
• Dans tous les cas, la charnière doit être boulonnée, le
dormant peut être simplement vissé. Pour les modèles 24.19,
24.24, 35.21, 36.14, 36.19 et 49.19, l'ouvrant et le dormant sont
pré - assemblés.
Une fois monté, nettoyer l'excédent de colle, ôter le film de
protection de la glace, et vérifier que le panneau fonctionne
correctement (ouverture/fermeture).
UTILISATION
LE PANNEAU DOIT IMPERATIVEMENT
RESTER FERME EN NAVIGATION
La fermeture est assurée par 1 ou 2 poignée(s) grise(s).
Des poignées extérieures sont disponibles en option.
ENTRETIEN
• Après chaque sortie en mer il est recommandé de rincer
les panneaux à l'eau douce. N'utilisez jamais de solvant sur la glace
pour le nettoyage au risque de l'endommager. Nettoyez toujours la
glace avec du savon et de l'eau.
• Si la glace est endommagée, elle peut être remplacée. Il
suffit d'identifier le modèle de panneau grâce au tableau ci-dessous
et de vous adresser à un revendeur GOIOT. Un kit de collage
composé de colle, de primaire d'accrochage et d'une notice
explicative est disponible (réf. 101715).
REGLAGE DE LA CHARNIERE
• Pour les panneaux 24.19, 24.24, 35.21, 36.14, 36.14, 36.19,
36.24, 49.24 et 49.19
Introduire une clé Allen de 5 dans la lumière de la charnière et
serrer à l'aide d'une clé Allen de 4 la vis située à l'extérieur de la
charnière. Répéter l'opération pour l'autre côté
• Pour les panneaux 44.31, 42.42, 49.42, 44.44, 44C, 49C et les
nouvelles tailles 44 et 54 :
Introduire une clé Allen de 5 dans la lumière de la charnière et
serrer à l'aide d'une clé à pipe de 10. De même pour l'autre côté.
• Pour les panneaux 49.49, 61.61, 61.49 et 75.61 :
A l'aide d'une clé Allen de 10 serrer les vis à 6 pans creux.

FITTING

• The hatch must be installed on a flat surface with a
maximum tolerance of +/- 1 mm.
• Check that there will be enough space when operating the
lid.
• Mark up the hatch cut out area using cut out
measurements below. Mark also the lower frame fixing holes.
• Drill a hole for the jigsaw blade on the waste side of the
cut line. Use a jigsaw to cut the aperture through the boat.
• Verify that the hatch frame fits the holes before applying
sealant.
• Apply a generous bead of bedding compound all away
around the frame where it is in contact with the deck.
• Fasten the frame to the deck using stainless steel bolts,
starting with screwing in the edge areas in order to ease fixing
operation. Finish screwing the remainder of the lower frame
starting from centre to side.
• It is imperative that the lower frame is through bolted in the
hinge areas while the remainder of the lower frame could be
simply screwed to the deck. On models 24.19, 24.24, 35.21, 36.14,
36.19 and 49.19 lid and lower frame are pre - assembled.
• Clean up the excess bedding compound. Remove the
protective film applied on the acrylic. Check that the hatch can be
open or closed correctly.

OPERATING

IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE HATCH IS
CLOSED WHILE SAILING
Closing is operated with 1 or 2 grey handle(s). Outside handles
are optional.

SERVICING

• Rinse the hatch with soft water after sailing.
Never use solvent to clean the acrylic. It could damage the sealant
and the acrylic. Simply use soaped water.
• In case the acrylic is broken, it could be replaced. You
just have to identify the model using the chart below and contact
our nearest GOIOT distributor (see network section in GOIOT
website). A glueing kit comprising glue and primer) along with
refitting instructions is available (part no. 101715).

ADJUSTING THE HINGE FRICTION

• For models 24.19, 24.24, 35.21, 36.14, 36.14, 36.19, 36.24,
49.24 ans 49.19
Open the hatch and insert a 5 mm socket screw spanner into the
hole of one hinge and tighten the opposite screw with a 4 mm
socket screw spanner. Repeat the operation on the other hinge.
• For models 44.31, 42.42, 49.42, 44.44, 44C, 49C and nes sizes
44 and 54 :
Open the hatch and insert a 5 mm socket screw spanner into the
hole of one hinge and tighten the opposite screw with a 10 mm
socket wrench. Repeat the operation on the other hinge.
• For models 49.49, 61.61, 61.49 and 75.61 :
Tighten the socket screws located on the side of the hinges with a
10 mm socket screw spanner
