Mounting of the HIS-700R The HIS-700R is equipped with a enhanced driver circuit. Therefore it is possible to have the HIS-700R mounted in a distance up to 10m from the Chartplotter. The HIS-700R should not be mounted close to other units transmitting and receiving radio signals. -

But if you use such an adapter please do first install the adapter. Please assure that the adapter is not yet connected to the HIS-700R. In some cases this could lead to misinstallation of the adapter and a final reliable use of the HIS-700R is not possible. -

External NMEA data, e.g. of an external GPS, can be passed through to the HIS-700R. This input is optodecoupled. The yellow and the brown cable are used for this feature. The yellow cable is the positive input for the additional NMEA data (NMEA +). -
