Regarding the machine preheating:

Since the machine motor for vacuum is with sheet rubber, the low
surrounding temperature may make the sheet rubber hard.
Therefore in the first use, the machine may take 3~5 minutes
preheating time to make the sheet rubber become soft again and
then the motor can work in normal mode.

How to connect the cylinder-like oil filter

Besides cotton filters, the package also include a cylinder-like oil
filter to enhance filtering effects. The following picture shows how
to connect this filter. Connect the short hose, which is attached to
the oil filter, to the vacuum connector of the machine and one end
of the long PVC hose to the oil filter.
