HUNTER 27 BIMINI INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
You will need a drill, a 3/16" drill bit and a Phillips screwdriver.
1. Your first step in installing your frame is finding the location of the
mounts. Measure forward 9" (from the center of the stern rail post).
This measurement will be center of the mount (see picture #1). Secure
the mounts with #10 x 1 1/4" pan head screws. Be sure to seal all the
holes with 5200 caulk or silicone. Once these mounts have been
secured, mount your frame, making sure the longest frame is facing
aft. (see picture #1).
2. Take the longest stiff leg (attached to the aft frame) and slide it into the
eye end on the fwd frame (see picture # 2) and secure.
This eliminates the need for bimini tie down straps.
3. Attach the split rail mounts to the stern rail seats, and then take the smaller
stiff leg that is (attached to the aft frame) and secure the eye end to the split
rail mounts.
