    Setting and using the alarm • The setting procedure of the ALARM time is the same as that of the TIME display. Setting order is as follows: ALARM→HOURS→MINUTES • The HOURS display will synchronize with the selection of 12 or 24-HOURS in the TIME adjustment.

    Setting the chime and sound monitor • Press button simultaneously in the normal TIME or normal CALENDAR mode, the CHIME can be set "ON" or "OFF" each time the buttons are pressed and the CHIME set mark will be indicated. The SOUND MONITOR is conducted at the same time when the buttons are pressed.

    Battery replacement / Reset • Press the buttons simultaneously following battery replacement operations to reset the watch. Failure to reset the watch after battery replacement will result in improper timekeeping. • Pressing all three buttons simultaneously will cause the watch display to highlight and a confirmation signal to sound indicating the reset operation is complete.

  • Page 18 Precautionary items and usage limitations <Magnetism> • Analog quartz watches are powered by a step motor that uses a magnet. Subjecting the watch to strong magnetism from the outside can cause the motor to operate improperly and prevent the watch from keeping time accurately.

Otherwise, perspiration or moisture may enter the gaps between the protective stickers and the parts, which may result in a skin rash and/or corrosion of the metal parts.
