Understanding the Gear Locking System The gear locking system of the tilt/rocking base is made up of the locking key (a), the drive gear (b), and the locking paddles (c). Figure 1 When locking key is turned, the drive gear rotates and forces the locking paddles to move in and out.

Mount the Platypus Activity Chair onto the Tilt/Rocking Base Place the Platypus Activity Chair on the Tilt/Rocking Base as shown in figure 5 below. The feet of the Platypus and the feet of the Tilt/Rocking Base should align and touch.

Adjusting the position of the Tilt/Rocking Base heads and tails The Tilt/Rocking Base can be configured to accommodate multiple positioning needs. Changing the configuration of the Tilt/Rocking Base is accomplished by changing the position of the heads and tails.
