Page 2 LIFEGARD® FULL VIEW Aquarium comes with a bottom drain or plug. The plug is there to block any flow of water from the bottom of the tank. If you replace it with the strainer it becomes a bottom drain. This allows you to clean the soil and have the ability to drain the dirt from the bottom.
