EFCN/P eFIRE CONTROL KIT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
ALLOW SAFETY SCREEN TO COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE ANY MAINTENANCE, AS IT WILL REMAIN HOT
ENSURE THE APPLIANCE IS COMPLETELY COOL PRIOR TO STARTING INSTALLATION.
TO AVOID DANGER OF SUFFOCATION KEEP THE PACKAGING BAG AWAY FROM BABIES, CHILDREN OR
OTHER AT RISK INDIVIDUALS. DO NOT USE IN CRIBS, BEDS, CARRIAGES OR PLAY PENS.

Download the eFire Controller app, see the "eFIRE CONTROLLER APPLICATION" leaflet.

Turn off gas and disconnect power supply to appliance.

Remove the safety screen or optional front from the appliance, see "SAFETY SCREEN AND DOOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION"
section in manual.
Disconnect all wires (DO NOT DISCARD; Keep wires for new installation) from the control board and discard the control board,

a new control board is supplied with this kit and must be installed.

If a blower has not yet been installed, ensure to install this option before proceeding through these instructions. (One of the wire
clips, supplied with this kit must be installed onto the bottom of the appliance, near the blower, if installed, to ensure the black/
purple wires are kept away from the blower to avoid any damages).

Remove the two screws securing the regulator to the valve and discard. Replace with the stepper motor and secure in place
using the two screws supplied, follow the instructions supplied with the stepper motor, refer to Figure 1.
7.
Install the wires and controls as follows; ensure to handle the fragile wire connections with extreme caution, refer to the wiring
diagram on the next page for detailed images of all wiring components.
8.
Place the control board in a safe and secure location with the reset program button towards the front of the appliance, secure in
place using the velcro strip supplied.
9.
Reconnect the red wires from the pilot assembly to the new control board, connectors are sized to only fit properly one way; do
not force into place.
10. Connect the (X4 CONNECTOR) ON/OFF switch to the new control board.
11. Reconnect the wire harness of the battery back-up and valve to the new control board. Ensure the yellow, green and red wires are
connected to the valve and did not come loose during installation. Connect the anti condensation switch (ACS) blue/white wires.
12. Connect the wire harness from the stepper motor to the new control board, refer to the illustration on following page.
13. Connect the black/white wires from Bluetooth module (supplied) to the control board, refer to the illustration on the following
page.
14. If the optional blower is installed, connect the blower/light pig tail to the control board, using the blower power cord, plug in the
blower into the pig tail.
15. Ensure all wires have been clipped into the wire clips supplied to avoid any damages to the wires.
16. Ensure the power cord is properly connected to the new control board and then plugged into the electrical box in the appliance.
17. Reconnect the power supply to the appliance.
18. Turn on the gas and reinstall the door and safety screen, see "SAFETY SCREEN AND DOOR REMOVAL / INSTALLATION" section
in manual.
19. Refer to the initializing transmitter (hand held remote control) for setting up communications between the transmitter and receiver.
20. Test the Bluetooth control, lights and blower (if equipped), see the "eFire Controller Application" leaflet.
NOTE : Depending on the appliance features, the colour wheel function may not be operable with this kit.
