  • Page 3 2. If the hatch-bag will obscure your cars registration plate remove this first. 3. Fill your cars boot as normal, then place the 6 hatch huggers inside the boot as shown by the blue circles with the larger ends inside the cars boot. The hatch hugger that secures to the top of the frame in the middle is optional and we advise against using it if your car has a very large rear spoiler above the rear window.
  • Page 4 4. Shut the boot and pull the ends of the 6 straps so that they are flush with the inside of the boot / tailgate. Take one of the long straps used to secure the hatch-bag/luggage to the frame and place it over the bottom foam section then place the frame into the bottom foam section and place on the top of the bumper, making sure the top to bottom strap on the frame and luggage strap are central and pass through the slot cut on the base foam section.
  • Page 5 5. Place the rear foam section behind the frame with the top to bottom strap on the frame in front of it. Ensure the frame is sat in the slots, this section can be rotated to suit your cars tailgate angle, and allow you to get the frame as vertical as possible.
  • Page 6 6. Now attach all six straps to the six fixing points on the hatch bag frame, and pull tight. Start with the top left and right straps. The bottom left and right straps can be cut to length to suit your car if you wish. If you melt the ends of the webbing with a flame it will melt the end and stop any fraying in the future.
  • Page 7 7. If your car has a rear spoiler and you opt to use the upper middle strap feed the strap through the foam pad as shown, this will protect your cars paint 8.Once all the straps are tight and the frame does not move tie off the lose ends.
  • Page 8 9. Now attach the bag or suitcase/luggage to the frame. Feed the straps around the frame twice as shown. Place them through the middle fixing, on the bag or cross them over if you are use your own luggage. If you will need the registration plate light feed the small strap through the top to bottom strap and the left to right strap through the back of the registration plate holder as shown below.
