After a long time operation, the filter and honeycomb pad will be clogged with
the dust which will greatly affect the unit's performance. Sometimes mold and
mildew may also occur, due to lack of water changes. It is recommended to
clean the filter and honeycomb pad once every two weeks.
The clean procedures are as below:
1. Disconnect the power supply, unplug the unit.
2. Remove the screw of the rear cover and then take the filter and honeycomb
pad out for cleaning.
3. Wash the filter in a mild detergent and warm water solution then rinse in
clean water.
4. Wash the honeycomb pad in clean water. A soft brush can be used for
cleaning.
5. Put the filter and honeycomb pad to the original position and screw it to fix
the position.
6. The water tank should be clean when it is clogged with dirt after a long time use.
