Wire Set for Simulators
for VBar Control
With this Wire Set you can use any existing VBar main unit
or Mini VBar as well as the dedicated VBar Control Simu-
lator Interface (available early 2015) as a wireless simula-
tor interface for your favorite simulator.
Attention The Wireless Simulator App must be installed on
your VBar Control, and the VBar you want to use must be
updated to VSim Firmware (available on www.vstabi.info —
see manual and video tutorials there for instructions if you
are not yet familiar with the installation).
USB Power Supply Wire
Connect the USB wire to a free USB port on your computer
and any free port on your Mini VBar (but not RX A) or VBar
main unit (but not the ports on the USB connector side of
the main unit).
Use the Audio Jack Adapter Wire to connect your sim to
RX B on a Mini VBar or to Colle/ESC on a VBar main unit.
Connect a VBar Control Receiver Satellite to your VBar
and bind with VBar Control.
You are ready to go.
Warning Use the simulator's setup to adjust VBar Control
to the simulator. Do not change basic settings on your VBar
Control, since they will also affect your real models.
Warning Do not use the USB Power Supply Wire to power
servos from the USB port. USB ports in general are only
rated 500 mA. The current draw of servos can damage the
USB port of your computer permanently.
Danger do not connect head phones or other audio equip-
ment to the Audio Jack Adapter Wire. You risk hearing dam-
age as well as damage to the audio equipment.

Wireless Simulator interface with a VBar Control Satellite
Receiver satellite connected are required as well as a sim-
ulator with a mono or stereo audio jack-interface.

Wireless Simulator-App
Note Get this App by connecting your VBar Control
to a computer and accessing the App Store using
VBar Control Mana ger.
This App adds support for wireless simulator operation. A
VBar together with a VBar Control Receiver Satellite must
be bound to VBar Control, the Wire Set has to be connect-
ed to your computer.
Bind the VBar using the Bind dialog.
The main display will show Simulator and Short Range Mode
active.
In the main menu, you find an entry Simulator Settings.
Here you can select what happens after the session has
been ended: the receiver Go to bind mode again automati-
cally, or it can stay bound to the current VBar Control. This
can be helpful if you want to share the simulator with a
buddy or if you just want to turn VBar Control off temporar-
ily and have it reconnect at once again.
Attention With a VSim enabled VBar, you can turn off VBar
Control even if the VBar is still powered up, e.g. to bind a
different VBar Control, or just to save juice on VBar Control
if you are away from the computer for a moment.
