note: make sure the switch is in the middle (off) position before changing pulling rods and nosepieces etc.
4.3.
changing pulling rods and nosepieces refer to fig.1
4.3.1.
Remove the outer socket by undoing it CLOCKWISE with the spanner supplied.
4.3.2.
Remove the pulling rod installed and remove the washers (note their position and orientation).
4.3.3.
Use the smaller end of the spanner to undo the nosepiece (turn ANTICLOCKWISE), remove the nosepiece.
4.3.4.
Select the required size of pulling rod and nosepiece, insert the hex end of the pulling rod into the hex socket on the riveter.
4.3.5.
Place the washers and bearing onto the pulling rod in the correct order for the pulling rod size as shown in figs. 2.1 and 2.2.
4.3.6.
Refit the outer socket and tighten.
4.3.7.
Fit the nosepiece and tighten CLOCKWISE.
4.4.

4.4.1.
Select and install the required pulling rod and nose piece.
4.4.2.
Push the switch to the left.
4.4.3.
Screw a rivet nut onto the pulling rod, pull the trigger gently, the pulling rod will rotate into the rivet nut.
4.4.4.
Put the rivet nut into the hole in the metal sheet etc.
4.4.5.
Pull the trigger until the rivet nut is fixed into the metal sheet.
4.4.6.
Push the switch to the right, gently pull the trigger and the pulling rod will rotate out of the rivet nut.
4.5.

4.5.1.
Remove the outer socket and the pulling rod.
4.5.2.
Pull the head cap, see fig.3, forward and insert the drill bit into the drive socket.

To change the drill bit pull the head cap forward to remove.
4.5.4.
Push the switch through to the left hand side to drill a hole. Push the switch through to the right side to reverse the drill out of the hole.
note: only use the drill bits supplied in the kit.
4.6.

4.6.1.
Pull the head cap forward to insert the desired tool.
4.6.2.
Push the switch through to the left and pull the trigger gently to drive a screw etc. and push the switch through to the right to remove a
screw etc.
environment protection
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.

(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.
