HOW TO MAKE A CALL

Handset is ON-HOOK.

In your car, for best results plug in the external antenna and
use the cigarette-lighter plug-in for the car battery power.
However, it is always possible to use the internal battery and
the internal antenna, although the steel car body will decrease
your range.
3.
Depress the channel buttons for the channels available in your
local area.
(To raise a button, push it again; these are push-
push switches).
4.
Select IMTS or MTS mode in accordance with the following table,
and turn the power ON.
