Step 1 - How to Set Up the Barracuda Phone System

Before installation, determine the best type of

climate controlled environment and 1U in a 19" rack or other suitable location is required for all

deployments except Barracuda Phone System model 170. See the

article for feature descriptions by model.

Verify you have the necessary equipment:

Barracuda Phone System (check that you have received the correct model)

AC power cord

Ethernet cables

VGA monitor (recommended)

PS2 keyboard (recommended)

Uninterruptible power supply (recommended)

Two telephone Y-cables (model 270B only)

AC input voltage 100-240 volts
