Antenna Connection

y o u r TV set and c o n n e c t to scre w s on V id eo B rain a ntenna
sw itc h box.
2. C o nnect the tw o a nte nn a lead-in w ires fro m th e a ntenna
sw itc h b o x to th e screw s on y o u r TV. Set te rm in a l s w itch on
TV (if present) to 300 ohm s.
3. S w itch V id eo B rain a ntenna sw itc h b o x to " C o m p u te r" .
4. Plug a ntenna co rd fro m b ack o f V id eo B rain c o n so le o nto
a ntenna s w itc h box so c ke t labelled " C o m p u te r" .
5. S w itch TV on to channel 3 o r 4 and sw itch b ack o f co m p u te r
to same channel.

Power Connection

Use V id e o B ra in 's AC a d a p to r only. S ecure a d a p to r to w all
so cket using ce nte r scre w fro m co ver plate. Plug o th e r end
in to so c ke t marked " p o w e r" on th e b ack o f V id eo B rain.

Operation

1. S w itch p o w e r on (lig h t sh ould g o on). Push MASTER
CONTROL
2. Use SHIFT to te ll co m p u te r w h e th e r to re spond to ch aracte rs
on to p h a lf o f keys o r ch aracte rs on b o tto m half. R ectangle
at b o tto m rig h t o f TV screen is d a rk if keyboard is shifte d
d ow n, lig h t if shifted up.
3. Use b o tto m row keys- T EXT, COLOR, CLOCK, and ALARM
to choose b u ilt-in p rogram s.
4. TEXT lets you type a message on th e screen and SPECIAL
lets you ch an ge the display. BACK backspaces. ERASE erases
th e ch a ra c te r the c u rs o r is p o in tin g to. PREVIOUS m oves the
c u rs o r to the le ft o r up o ne line. NEXT m oves th e c u rs o r to
th e n ext line. SPACE moves th e c u rs o r o ne space to th e righ t.
