3. Text or number Entry
Input Method
Your phone supports 4 types of input methods:
Multitap ABC/Abc/abc
Smart ABC/Abc/abc
Numeric
Symbols
During text editing, long press * to switch between
languages and short press * to switch between the
different input methods. The status bar at the top of
the screen will display the current input method.
[ABC], [Abc] and [abc] represent Multi-tap upper,
Smart Multitap and Multi-tap lower case English
input respectively, [ENG], [Eng] and [eng]
represents Smart English upper, Smart English and
Smart English lower case input respectively, [123]
represents numeric input.

Delete the characters on the left of the
cursor or exit from editing mode.

Move the cursor, select a letter, word
or symbol from the list, or scroll down
a list.

Return to idle mode.
L
Select the highlighted word from the
list or enter options menu.

Enter symbols.

Switch input mode.
Multi-tap ABC/Abc/abc Input
1. Press once on the numeric key (2 to 9) to
enter the first letter on the key, press twice to
enter the second letter on the key, so on and so
forth. If the letter you wish to enter and the one
you have just entered are on the same key, just
wait for a few seconds for the cursor to re-appear.
2. Press R to delete the characters on the left of
the cursor.
You can press key 0 to insert a space in ABC/abc
Multitap input mode.
