- Page 3 Assemble the extension pole onto base and heavy duty under the base by fastener Using the fastener to tighten extension pole to base Thread extension pole nut onto threads of extension pole Take fan motor housing and insert it into extension pole and tighten the neck set screw securely Remove four mounting screws from motor housing where indicated to use for rear grill then assemble rear grill onto motor housing using screws, thighten the 4 screws securely Place fan blade onto motor shaft.
