The bite indicators and the receiver can be programmed very easily by setting the dip switch
systems to correspond with each other. Here is how it works:
the Indicator
The last 4 dip switches are to change the color of LED on the alarm.
These are the different settings for programming the colors:
All dip down = Red color

Attention!
The bite alarms are designed to function during all kinds of weather types, even heavy rain fall.
This does not mean that the alarms are waterproof! Do not drop the alarms or the receiver in the
water because it can damage the circuit. After heavy rain or damp conditions, always leave the
alarms and receiver dry in a warm place. This will increase the life time off the MAD FSX set.
The Indicators are designed to be fished in a "free run" way. We strongly urge you to NOT use the
bite alarms with methods of fishing where the line cannot run of the reel, in other words: where
the drag function is almost or completely disabled. Although the design of the bottom screw part is
extremely stable, it cannot cope with extreme pressure on it.
When the alarms will not be used for a longer period of time, make sure to take out the batteries at
all times. Damage caused by leaking batteries will not be compensated!

You find the dip switch system in the battery
compartment of the bite indicator.
The first 4 dip switches are meant for coding the
alarm with the receiver. Always make sure to keep
the first 4 dip switches of alarm and receiver in
the same position so that they are paired.
