Installing Your Digital Output Module
Introduction
Your Digital Output
Module
For each set of SPDIF Out, there
are two simultaneous outputs:
one through the coaxial
connector, the other through the
optical connector.
The Digital Output Module is a device that attaches to the Sound Blaster
digital connectors found in professional audio systems and the popular MiniDisc. The Digital Output
Module and the Sound Blaster Live! will deliver clean digital audio output in both conventional RCA
and optical formats catering to the needs of the DAT and the MiniDisc communities.
Your Digital Output Module has these jacks which allow you to attach other devices:

Connects to SPDIF-supported devices
such as a DAT, MD recorder or speakers
that have SPDIF RCA connectors.
SPDIF Out 1 (Optical) jack
