    To start or stop all 5400 Linux CP processes When to use This procedure provides the steps to start or stop all 5400 Linux CP processes that are monitored by the RCC except the processes in the MIVM. This includes all the processes listed in the /opt/RCC/var/*VM1P specification file for each of the VMs.
  • Page 77 Check whether the RCC status is Lead on the primary host and Active on the secondary host for all hosts, before starting the 5400 Linux CP processes. Note that this Step must be performed for all hosts and that the RCC status must be Lead/Active on all hosts.

    This procedures describes how to start or stop the Reliable Cluster Computing (RCC) processes on a 5400 Linux CP . The RCC processes and a few critical system processes owned by 5400 Linux CP are started before the VM can be started. These processes are listed in the /opt/RCC/var/ systemvm file along with the recovery scheme.
