the ceiling or removed completely. Power must be turned off and the supply line must be brought to the opening in ceiling as shown below.
The Wide Diameter Ring may be used when the existing hole is slightly oversize. To install the Wide Diameter Ring remove brackets (9) and (11). (SEE FIG A) Install
Extension Ring (19) over Junction Box and fit against lower flange of Ring (5). Ring (19) should be flush with face of Ring (5). (See enlarged view in FIG. B)
A. Connect quick connect (1) to the supply line. Remove junction box cover (3) attach supply line to junction box (4) through one of the knock-outs provided in
junction box (4). Connect connector (1) to connector (2). Put all wires inside of junction box (4) and install junction box cover (3). (SEE FIG. 1)
WARNING: DO NOT pinch wires between J-Box/ballast cover and J-Box. Consult a qualified electrician for all other options that require other wiring
configurations. Make sure all connections are tight and secure.
B. Push junction box Assembly and flange ring (5) through hole in ceiling. (SEE FIG. 2)
C. With housing (5) in ceiling, the housing (5) can be rotated as needed to clear existing fixture obstacles and/or to be positioned best for the flexible conduit,
etc. If additional adjustment is needed, screw (6) and/or screw (7) can be loosened and junction box (2) can be further moved. Ensure that screw (6) and
(7) are retightened after this step. (SEE FIG. 3)
D. While pressing the bottom flange (8) tight against the bottom of the ceiling insert one support (9) into slot as shown. Press support (9) down against the top of
the ceiling and tighten screw (10). Repeat this step for other support (9) on opposite side. (SEE FIG.4)
E. Install bracket (11) into slot on housing. Hold bracket (11) down firmly against top of housing ring (8) and tighten screw (12) to secure bracket (11). Repeat
this step for other bracket (11). (SEE FIG 4)
F. Pull connector (13) and electrical cover (14) below ceiling and plug connector (13) into module (15). Snap electrical cover (14) onto module (15) ensuring
that both clips (16) engage electrical cover (14). Insert two torsion springs (17) into two brackets (11) and push trim assembly (18) towards ceiling until
