FREEDOM+ Surf User Manual v2.0 1 Introduction Ocean Guardian is for ocean lovers. It is the world’s only scientifically proven and independently tested electrical shark deterrent technology. Sharks have small short-range electrical receptors in their snouts used for finding food. Ocean Guardian’s unique three-dimensional electrical waveform instantly turns sharks away by causing unbearable spasms in these sensitive receptors.

With the Power Module weighing just 250 grams, and the near zero drag of the 500 microns thin adhesive Decal Antenna, there is no impact on surfing performance.
