GENERAL WARNINGS
Mottura Serrature di Sicurezza S.p.A. thanks you for choosing this product and reminds you to:
- Read these instructions very carefully before installing and using this product and before doing any maintenance.
- Keep these instructions for future use and attach the sales receipt to validate the warranty.
- In case of problems, contact your authorized dealer only.
DO NOT use a liquid, spray, or wet cloth to clean the escutcheon! If liquids enter the scanner, they will oxidize and perma-
nently damage its components. Use a dry cloth only.
DO NOT paint the escutcheon with any method or substance. Failure to follow these instructions will immediately void
the warranty.
Mottura Serrature di Sicurezza S.p.A. reserves the right to modify the characteristics of the products described in these
instructions at any time and without notice. The fingerprint scanner must be powered ONLY with a direct current (DC) line
adapter with voltage from 8 to 24 V and current not below 350 mA (for example, Mottura adapter 99.683). Be very careful
to respect polarity.
DO NOT power the scanner in alternating current (AC): doing so will permanently damage it.
These power instructions refer ONLY to the fingerprint scanner, NOT to the lock, which has its own installation manual.
Battery power is not advisable: the batteries would drain very quickly.
After powering the scanner for the first time, or after a blackout, you have to wait at least 10 minutes for the sensor to heat,
otherwise the scans may be incorrect.
