SYMPTOM
•
This Technical Bulletin describes the software upgrading procedure for the EG-1L chassis, using a Memory
Stick.
•
Amongst others, the latest software version is needed when exchanging the BE1 board, which requires an
update of the MS DL Digital, VCTP, NVM VCTP & Verd data.
SOLUTION
•
Follow the outlined procedure below for upgrading to the latest software version, using the attachment to
Technical Bulletin 08TV038.
•
An alternative update (cf. "4. Alternative update (when no LED activity)") may be needed. In that case, use the
"eg1l_aep_pkg_103_memorystick.zip" file attached to this Technical Bulletin.
! IMPORTANT !
Only use the attachment "eg1l_aep_pkg_103_memorystick.zip" in case a regular update fails.
