1. Check to be sure there is correct voltage
to the unit and the ballast is
set for the correct voltage. (Photo-A)
2. Be sure the lamp connector is
fastened securely. (Photo-A)
3. Check for loose electrical
connections. (Photo-B)
4. Test with new lamp and if lamp
still does not light, replace ballast.

BAT - 40/50 Air Purifier comes with a limited
life time warranty excluding expendable parts
such as UV lamps. This exceptional warranty
provides for repair or replacement of any
defective parts or components for two years
from the date of purchase at no charge for
labor or materials. Warranty work for the
remaining life of the product will be provided
with a maximum cost not to exceed $55.00
dollars to the original owner. This warranty
does not cover the expendable ultraviolet lamp,
which must be replaced on a bi-annual basis (2 years).
All warranty repair work must be performed either at the factory or by a factory
certified service center. Shipping cost to the factory or service center is the
responsibility of the owner of the Air Purifier. Warranty return shipping from
the factory is prepaid for the first two years only. This warranty is provided
to the original purchaser of the Air Purifier and may not be transferred, sold
or bartered. This product is not warranted against freight damage, failure
resulting from misuse, connection to incorrect voltage, or acts of god such
as fires, earthquakes, or floods.

UnpAckIng The UnIT
Each BAT-40 & BAT-50 is shipped pre-assembled
with UV lamp installed.
Carefully remove unit and inspect for damage. In case of product
damage, please save the shipping box and notify Ultra-Sun
Technologies at 951-277-0304
Be sure the following parts are included:
• BAT air Purifier with UV Lamp and Mounting Plate
• Eight #12 Sheet Metal Screws plus one extra
• One 120 volt Quick Connect Power Cord

IMporTAnT sAfeTy InsTrUcTIons

1. Always be sure that unit is unplugged during installation
or service procedures.
2. Do not leave fingerprints on UV lamp. Clean lamp with a
dry cotton cloth and isopropyl alcohol.
3. EyE DAMAgE. Never look at the UV lamp when illuminated
without UV protected safety glasses.
4. The BAT-40 & 50 model Air Purifiers have a built in Site Port
that is UV protected and safe to monitor UV lamp performance.
