  • Page 3 Page 2 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE USER This appliance may only be installed by a registered LP Gas installer. All registered installers are issued with a card carrying their registration number. Ask to be shown the card before allowing the installation work to commence and make a note of the Installer QCC number.
  • Page 4 Page 3 GAS CONNECTION: The appliance inlet is to the 8mm plain straight tube, allowing connection by means of a gas-tight compression fitting to comply with both EC and local regulations. The cooler is suitable for connection to butane at 2.8-3.0 kPa and to propane at 3.7 kPa. Means must be provided to turn off the gas supply.

This instruction manual should be kept in a safe place for future reference. GAS THERMOSTAT OPERATION USER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Note: Appliance cannot be run off 2 heat sources at the same time.   • Page 6 Page 5 TROUBLESHOOTING IF THE COOLER FAILS TO WORK Check the following points before calling for service: 1. That the instructions for starting the cooler have been followed. 2. The cooler is level. 3. If the cooler fails to work check: a) That the gas bottle is not empty.
  • Page 7 Page 6 SOME USEFUL HINTS Make sure that: 1. Defrosting is carried out periodically. 2. The cooler is clean and dry with the lid open when it is not to be used for some time. If the appliance is fitted with a locking device – remove key to prevent accidental locking.
  • Page 8 Page 7 DEFROSTING Frost may gradually accumulate on the cooler surface. It must not be allowed to grow thick as it acts as an insulator and adversely affects cooler performance. Check the formation of frost regularly and when it gets around 5mm thick, defrost the cooler.
