IMPORTANT SAFETY & OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

SETTING UP FOR WORK ON A CORNER

DANGER:
When working on a corner, do not work at the front or rear of the Trailer. If a worker falls
off the roof at this angle, it could cause the Trailer to move laterally which can cause serious injury or
death.
WARNING:
a.
Put up guard rails before setting the Trailer in place for the corner work.
b.
Place the jack side of the Trailer at a 45 degree angle approximately ten feet from the corner.
(Refer to fig. 10) Once the Trailer is in place, remove the guard rails.
c.
With this set-up you should be able to work the corner plus approximately eight feet each
direction. (Refer to Fig. 10)

The employer shall provide for prompt rescue of employees in the event of a fall or shall assure that
employees are able to rescue themselves.
