When I press the power button on the devise starts up the screen says welcome and then it quickly shuts down juast the screnn on the microscope. The light on the side is red and the light for viewing remains on.

    Using the Microscope Installing the Battery 1. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit. 2. Insert the lithium battery into the battery compartment, lining up the polarity symbols on the battery with those inside the compartment. Charging the Battery 1.

    Operating the Microscope: Observation 1. Turn the microscope on or off by pressing the power on/off button on the right side of the control panel. 2. Power Save: Please refer to section on Auto Power-Off. 3. Place object onto stage. For flat objects, use the 2 clips on stage to hold object in place.

    Color Mode In preview status, press the Color Mode/Up button to select a Color/Positive/ Negative image. Previewing on a Computer Screen 1. Connect the microscope to computer via USB cable. 2.     Playback: 1. Press Back/Playback to enter playback mode. Review icon appears in the left corner of the screen. 2. Press the UP/DOWN buttons to select captured pictures and video clips. Delete: 1. To delete: In the playback mode, press the Menu/Settings button to enter the submenu.
