    Status Sentinel 16 Installation and Operation Manual Product Overview The Status Sentinel®16 is a robust, full-featured; Ethernet based data acquisition device with sixteen logic-level (status) inputs. All status/logic inputs are activated by a closure to ground. External sources can be contact closures, open collectors or 5, 12, 15 and 24-volt logic-level sources.

    Status Sentinel®16’s internal 22K resistor is connected to +5 volts and does not prevent the external circuitry from working properly. Also, be sure the ground potential of the Status Sentinel 16 is at the same potential as the external equipment’s ground.
