EN User manual for Solight 1T04 Breath Analyzer
Thanks for purchasing our 1T04 Breath Analyzer, a hand held High Precession Digital Alcohol Computer. 1T04 gives
you a digital indication of your breath alcohol content and thus your possible concentration of intoxication.

Operation instructions

1. Install 3x 1.5V Alkaline battery into the battery compartment. All segments turn on and then go to Real Time
Clock mode.
2. To begin, wash your mouth with water before using the unit. Abstain from smoking or drinking for at least 20
minutes.
3. Insert the provided blowing tube into the gas inlet.
4. Press MODE key once to change to Alcohol mode (DAC) from Real Time clock mode (RTC) and back.
5. In DAC mode, press START to activate preparations for measuring which will take approximately 90 seconds.
After the countdown is finished, the beep sounds is played and „BLOW" symbol will start blinking. At this point,
press the START button and hold it while blowing into the device.
6. Blow continuously through the blowing tube for approximately 7 seconds. After any sounds are heared, the
measuring is finished and you can read the result on the display.
 A measurement of less than 0.10‰BAC (0.05mg/l or 0.01% BAC) will show "0.00‰BAC（0.00mg/l or
0.00%BAC"
 A measurement between 0.10‰ (0.05mg/l or 0.01% BAC) & 3.0‰BAC (1.5mg/l or 0.3% BAC) will show its
digital reading.
 A measurement above 3.0‰BAC (1.5mg/l or 0.3% BAC), "HI" & "NO DRIVING" will flash on the display.
7. If you want to repeat the measuring, just press the START button. The device stores 10 results in its memory.
8. Memory readings: In DAC mode, press >> key to enter into the memory model and press >> or << key to recall
the last 10 memories. Press and hold >> for 2 secs and clear all memories.

Enhanced feature instructions

1. Press MODE Key to change to DAC mode from RTC mode. In DAC mode, press >> or << key to scroll forward
or backward the 10 memory readings
2. Press CLEAN to activate the 10 seconds air exhaust feature and display „Air clr" or „clr" and the count down
figure.
3. Press MODE Key to enter into Real Time clock. Hold << key for 2 seconds to enter into time setting in RTC
mode. Press << or >> key to increase or decrease the selected digit in real time setting mode. Press START
key once to shift the select digit in real time setting mode. Press the MODE key to save your RTC setting and
exit RTC setting mode.

Alert signals

1T04 is designed to alert user as following:
1. Low Level: "0.00‰BAC" will be shown on display if the concentration detected less than 0.10‰ BAC.
2. Safety Level: For measurements between Low Level (> 0.10‰ BAC) and Alert Level, the alcohol concentration
level shows on the display after test.
3. Alert Level: For measurements equal to or higher than the alert concentration level, the analyzer beeps
together with red light white light alternate and "NO DRIVING" flashes for 15 seconds. The alcohol
concentration level displays on the screen and "red light" will then remain on the LCD. If reading greater than
3.0‰ BAC, "HI" & the red light will flash and then remain on the LCD. Press any key can stop the alert sound.
